Candlewood Suites Reading by IHG

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Eddie at the front desk was welcoming and quick to help. Edelyn was helpful and even had the gas tanks for the grill filled fast. Charles was helpful as well. The hospitality staff always had a smile on their face and were very clean. The place was cozy and even had a kitchenette with cookware.

Beautiful location and comfortable enough stay. Rooms were clean for the most part, the exceptions being the walls and the bathroom sink. Parking is convenient and literally everything you need is within a 5 minute walk. Service was fine enough, helpful and non intrusive if not a little bored.

So we recently stayed at the hotel for the weekend. After a long drive just too exhausted and just wanted to to relax. We'll to our surprise , checked in the room housekeeping did a lousy job. The dishes were still in the dishwasher clean but not put away. The bed was half made, meaning the sheets weren't snuggled in. The coffee table was pushed completely against the wall do we had to move that and someone left their child's underwear hanging in the closet. The phone in the bedroom was dirty with dry food on it, noticed that once we came back. I'm so surprised we stay here once a year for business and pleasure and thinking we need to reevaluate for our next trip. Over the room is big and good room temperature. Please do better, i don't want to take my business somewhere else.

Other than the bed being a bit soft, the time was great! Loved the kitchenette. Would definitely stay there again.

Room was very nice, price was great, bed was comfy, night was restful... My biggest complaint was the water from the tap smelled and tasted awful, which is what holds this back from five stars (for the price point). But that's a minor thing in comparison to everything that went right.

Very clean and nice place. They have all kinds of appliances you can borrow from the desk. Everything was very clean. Soft towels and quality soaps etc. The even have plates knives etc in your room. Nice bar/restaurant half block away.A+ Highly Recommend!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this location given I saw some recent mixed reviews. The place was fine. I mean, it wasn't a Four Seasons, but you aren't paying for a Four Seasons. I saw a comment from someone who previously reviewed this location who called the furniture 'dated'. I think that is a fair assessment, but the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff could not have been any nicer, and they directed me towards a nice place to eat dinner. My only gripe, and the reason I can't give 5 stars is that the water pressure/hot water in the showers could improve a bit. Perhaps I was taking a shower around 7am when many others were using the shower too, but the best description I could give to the hot water, was 'luke warm'. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great view, services are definitely great, the rooms are bit to small but worth it if you ask me, I’m currently in the hotel for 2 weeks and it’s amazing!
